‘The Deliciously Healthy Cookie Challenge”
Entry Procedures, and Rules

Stay tuned for updates about our 2010 challenge...

Purpose

‘The Deliciously Healthy Cookie Challenge’ is a unique approach to combating two serious issues that children face every day: the fight to overcome childhood hunger in America, and the need to combat childhood obesity. The common factor of concern is nutrition. If either child does not eat nutritionally, their physical and intellectual development is at risk.

The Deliciously Healthy Cookie Challenge’, plans to raise funds to combat child hunger in America by inviting community members of all ages and experience, to submit entries that are both healthy and tasty alternatives to the cookies currently enjoyed by youth. Youth involved in the entry or judging process will also learn how to identify nutritional facts and how to become better consumers of good source nutrition.

Entry

Participants are to submit their recipes of what they believe to be the healthiest, yet tastiest cookie keeping in mind that we are looking for ‘good source’ nutritional options that will lead to healthy choices for both the hungry and the overweight.

An optional entry fee of $10.00 per recipe (students $5.00) will provide needed support for children who are hungry or at risk of hunger.

  • submitted in English (if you need help with submitting your materials in English, please contact us and we will work to assist you)
